Language By Design has provided communication coaching to high-tech organizations since 1997. Based in Silicon Valley, we offer on-site training and coaching in the Bay Area and beyond. Our mission is to help employees and managers communicate more effectively in the workplace, enhancing productivity while increasing professional satisfaction.

Our language and communication programs are custom-designed to meet individual needs. We work at all levels of an organization, from the assembly line to the corner office. We have designed and delivered multi-level programs for workers developing their English skills, comprehensive curricula for technical teams, and one-on-one coaching for individual contributors as well as experienced executives.

Our programs reflect the diversity of our client organizations. We create oral and written communication programs for both native and non-native speakers of English. We are committed to helping people of different cultural and linguistic backgrounds meet their professional goals.

Convenience is key for our clients. On-site training helps them save time by eliminating the need to travel to another site. We complete all phases of our assessment, program development and instruction at your workplace. Virtual meetings are an option when travel makes meeting in person a challenge.

Flexibility is another hallmark of our training programs. One client organization may benefit from a seminar that meets weekly, allowing participants to integrate objectives into daily work life. Another client might require occasional coaching sessions when an overseas executive is in the US. Finally, all-day workshops may work best for an east coast site.
